Vegan Steaks


All-purpose flour Sugar Instant dry yeast  Plant-milk soy, almond, oat Water Sunflower oil Vanilla extract Orange zest Salt


Make a broth with water, bay leaves and vegetable stock

Blend tofu, onion, soy sauce, salt, pepper, oil and garlic

Blend until smooth. This is the flavour base of the vegan meat

In a separate bowl, mix your blended mass and vital wheat gluten (seitan flour)

Knead the "dough", it should be firm but elastic

Cut into slices and use a rolling pin to make "steak-shaped" pieces.

Bake the "steaks" for 20 mins at 360F/180C. Then, let them simmer in the broth 20 mins.

Store in glass container in fridge for up to 7 days in broth. Cook the "steaks" with fried mushrooms and garlic on a pan

Covered in a layer of AP flour before frying on pan. Glaze with 1/2 cup white wine.

Cook the steaks for 5 mins, top with chopped parsley and eat with your favourite side.
