Plant milk Corn starch Sugar Vanilla extract Turmeric Lemon peel
This vegan custard is perfect for cakes and desserts - ready in 10 mins
In a pot, add plant milk + sugar + corn starch
Turmeric for yellow color - I add very little, since I am not fond of the flavour.
Vanilla aroma or extract, then whisk
Lemon peel for a fresh flavour, preferably from organic lemon
Medium heat and stir. Remove the lemon peel after 2 mins
Ready when creamy and thick.
Let cool, but stir once in a while to avoid lumps
