Whether you want to enjoy this for brunch, or dinner, oven-baked asparagus is a great healthy side dish to any meal.

STEP 1: Rinse and trim the woody ends of the asparagus

STEP 2:  transfer onto a baking sheet, season with olive oilsalt, garlic, and pepper

STEP 3:  roast them at 400°F 10 - 15 mins.

STEP 4: To check for doneness, poke them with a fork at the end of the stalk

STEP 6: Serve as a side dish with your barbecue, salad, or grain bowl, etc.

OR serve with another grill favorite: marinated grilled tofu. Perfect for summer BBQs.
