Apple Cake

Vegan

Red apples All-purpose flour or whole grain Sugar Baking powder Plant-milk (soy, almond, oat) Sunflower oil Soy yogurt Powdered sugar

Ingredients

To make this soft Apple Cake, we start with soy yogurt

Add sugar + sunflower oil to the yogurt while mixing.

Your choice of plant milk (oat, soy, almond) is added to the mix.

Sift flour and baking powder.

Mix and set aside. Now peel and cut your favourite type of apple.

Thin slices of apple of top + finish with a sprinkle of sugar to caramelize the apples.

This is important, it prevents the apples from burning. Bake for 1 hour at 360F/180C.

Let cool and enjoy this soft apple cake.

You can also make a wholegrain version - just use wholegrain flour instead of AP.
